Refunds & Cancellations
Last changed 23 September 2026
In short
You can cancel any time, from Setup › Subscription — no questions, no reason needed. Your practice keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for, and then stops renewing.
Unused time is refunded. CoachYantra is paid a year in advance; when you cancel we refund the whole unused months of that year to your original payment method, within 30 days, without your having to ask. GST is adjusted on the refund.
The trial is free. The 30-day trial takes no payment details and is never charged, so there is nothing to refund on it.
The free trial
A new practice starts with a 30-day free trial, with everything working and no payment details taken. Nothing is charged during the trial, so no refund arises. If you do not subscribe, the practice simply moves to read-only and then locks, as set out in the Terms; you can still download all your data.
How you are billed
After the trial, CoachYantra is a subscription for 12 months, paid once a year in advance, that renews each year until you cancel. The price, including GST, is shown under Setup › Subscription before you pay. Payments are taken by Razorpay, which holds your card or bank details; we never see them.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time under Setup › Subscription, with no questions asked and no reason needed. Cancelling stops the subscription renewing. Your practice keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that it becomes read-only for 7 days and then locks, and you can still download all your data for 30 days after the end.
What we refund
- Unused whole months. When you cancel a subscription paid a year in advance, we refund the whole unused months remaining in that year — automatically, to your original payment method, within 30 days, without your having to ask. GST is adjusted on the refund.
- The month you are in. You pay for the month in which you cancel; there is no part-month refund for it, and your practice keeps working to the end of it.
- Your last month. If you cancel in the final month of the year you paid for, there is nothing left to refund.
- Failed, duplicate or incorrect charges. A payment taken in error — a duplicate charge, or a charge after a cancellation took effect — is refunded in full once confirmed.
How to ask about a refund
Cancellations and the refund of unused months are handled for you automatically, so in the ordinary case you need do nothing. If a refund has not reached you within 30 days, or you believe a charge was taken in error, reply to your welcome email or use the contact address shown under Setup, and we will put it right. Refunds are always made to the original payment method through Razorpay; we cannot refund to a different account.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page takes away a refund or cancellation right that the law gives you. Where a mandatory consumer-protection right is stronger than what is written here, that right applies. India does not impose a statutory cooling-off period for a service like this, so the cancellation and refund terms above govern. This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product and our legal review progress. When a change affects money you have already paid, we will tell you before it takes effect. This page always shows the date it last changed, at the top.
This page describes what the software actually does; every factual claim in it is checked by a test or a database constraint in the product. It is not legal advice. We keep it current and revise it as our business and legal requirements evolve.
